Mississippi Legislature Convenes Today

The Mississippi Legislature will return to Jackson to convene the 2021 Legislative Session at noon today, and we at The Parents’ Campaign are looking forward to working with legislators to find solutions to our state’s teacher shortage, improve teacher pay, expand access to high quality pre-k, and provide public schools the resources they need to ensure that students and teachers are safe and well-equipped for success, and that learning continues as the pandemic runs its course.

Be sure to bookmark our¬†legislative web page, where you will find regular updates about legislation that affects your public schools as well as the names of and contact information for legislators who represent your school district, your legislators’ education voting records, links to watch the Legislature in session, and lots more. You can see our priorities for the 2021 Legislative Session here.

Ask your friends to join us as we lay the groundwork for a bright future for Mississippi children. 2020 is behind us, better days are ahead, and Mississippi children have you in their corner. What a blessing!
