This raise is critically important to teachers and will help to stem the exodus of teachers from the profession. It is also immensely important to the hundreds of thousands of Mississippi children who rely on well qualified teachers to provide them the skills they need to lead successful lives.

We’re very grateful to Senate Education Committee Chair DeBar, Vice Chair Blount, Sen. Hopson, and Sen. Bryan for their work to bring us one step closer to a historic teacher pay raise. Please call your rep today and urge a final YES vote on the teacher pay raise tomorrow. Let’s get this to Gov. Reeves right away. Together, we’ve got this!
