Conferees Named for Teacher Pay Raise Bill

Conferees for HB 530 have been named, and they should begin meeting soon to iron out a final agreement on the teacher pay raise bill. The Legislature’s own Joint Rules require that all conference committee meetings be public.

Senate conferees are Senate Education Chair Dennis DeBar, Sen. Hob Bryan, and Senate Appropriations Chair Briggs Hopson.

Please ask the conferees to begin meeting immediately to finalize the teacher pay raise and get HB 530 to Gov. Reeves for his signature.
