Here’s a great opportunity for Mississippi students of all ages! Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann and his team have created three grade-appropriate activities that allow students to share the ways that the COVID-19 outbreak has affected their communities and to offer their ideas about how lawmakers could address these challenges.
Educators are invited to include the activities in assignments for their classes, and parents and students are invited to submit completed activities directly. With permission from a parent or guardian, submissions will be posted on social media and shared with state senators. Find the activities and permission form here.
Mail completed activities and permission slips to:

We at The Parents’ Campaign are so very thankful for the folks on the frontlines throughout these difficult times: our wonderful educators and school district staff, healthcare workers, emergency personnel, and grocery store and food service employees. Thank you for what you do every day to keep us safe, to keep our children learning, and to move us toward a brighter day.
In honor of these brave heroes, let’s all commit to doing our part: stay home whenever possible and help to flatten the curve. Because, together, we’ve got this!
