Saturday Deadline for In-person Absentee Voting

If you plan to vote absentee in this election, please be aware that noon this Saturday is the deadline to do so in person.

Registered voters who are age 65 or older or who won’t be able to get to the polls next Tuesday can vote absentee at their Circuit Clerk’s office. Circuit Clerks’ offices are open for in-person absentee voting today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday (November 2) from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Find your Circuit Clerk’s office here.

Voters in more than 50 Mississippi school districts will have candidates for their school boards on their November ballots. We asked the candidates to tell us their opinions on important education issues, and you can see their answers here.

If candidates in your district haven’t yet responded, please send them the link to the questionnaire and ask them to respond right away. We will get their answers posted shortly after we receive them.

Please also encourage your neighbors to check out where school board candidates stand on public education before they head to the polls. Don’t live in a district with a school board election? Share the information with public education voters in other communities.

Let’s each do our part to ensure strong public schools for all Mississippi children. Together, we’ve got this!
